Suprata for solar installers

Solar installs, from site visit to signed proposal to service plan

A solar job has a long road between the first call and the day the system is on. Suprata keeps the proposal, the paperwork, the install crew and the payments on one job. After the install, the system becomes a service customer you keep.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from solar installers all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

We do a site visit, send a proposal, and then lose track of who signed and who is still thinking about it.

Each proposal shows when it was opened, and the customer signs online and pays the deposit when they accept.

Every install has a pile of documents: the signed contract, roof photos, the utility paperwork. They end up in five places.

The document library anchors every file to the account or the job, with search and secure share links.

Install day needs the right crew, the right panels and the right inverter on the truck.

Crews are scheduled on the calendar and dispatch board, and panels and inverters are tracked in stock and on purchase orders.

Once the system is on, we never hear from the customer again until something breaks.

A service agreement can schedule yearly checkups and cleanings, and the installed equipment stays on the account with serial numbers.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 8:00 am

    Install day

A three-person crew heads out with the panel count and inverter model already on the job.

  2. 9:30 am

    Site visit

A sales tech photographs the roof and the electrical panel and adds them to a new job.

  3. 11:45 am

    Proposal out

The office sends two system sizes on one proposal. The homeowner opens it twice before lunch.

  4. 2:00 pm

    Signed and deposited

The homeowner picks the larger system, signs and pays the deposit, and the job is marked won.

  5. 3:30 pm

    Update shared

The install lead shares a photo of the finished array with the customer from the job page.

  6. 5:00 pm

    Service plan

The finished system's serial numbers are saved to the account, and a yearly checkup agreement is started.

Can we collect a deposit when the customer signs?

Yes. Set a deposit rule for install jobs, such as a percentage of the total. Accepting the proposal creates a deposit invoice and takes the customer to pay.

Does Suprata file permits or utility paperwork?

No. It keeps those documents with the job, but filing happens with your town and utility.

Can we track the equipment we installed?

Yes. Installed equipment is recorded on the customer's account with serial, model and install date, and every later service visit adds to its history.

Can we sell a yearly service plan?

Yes. A service agreement sets the visits, the price and the renewal, and creates the jobs on its own.
