Suprata for marinas

Every slip, mooring and fuel dock sale in one marina system

Suprata Marina puts every slip and mooring on a live dock map, prices dockage by the foot, and bills seasonal tenants on schedule with metered shore power. The store, fuel dock and office sell through the same register, so a boater's dockage, fuel and lunch land on one statement.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from marinas all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

Every spring I chase two hundred insurance certificates by email, and in August I find out a boat on B dock has been uninsured since June.

Required documents attach to each boat type, can block the booking until they are on file, and customers are emailed automatically before a certificate expires.

A 42-foot boat got billed like a 30-footer for half a season because somebody typed the length wrong on the spreadsheet.

Per-foot rates read the length off the boat record, and slip sizes act as fit checks, so a 48-foot boat cannot be put in a 40-foot slip.

The big liveaboards run air conditioning all summer, I flat-rate the electric, and the small boats end up paying for it.

A meter on each slip feeds readings into the tenant's folio, and the monthly settlement bills actual usage times your rate.

When a seasonal owner goes cruising for three weeks, his slip sits empty while I turn transients away at the fuel dock.

Available While Away releases that exact slip to transients for the dates he is gone, without touching his reservation or his billing.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 7:00 am

    Front Desk check

The dockmaster opens Front Desk to see today's arrivals, departures and the online bookings that came in overnight.

  2. 8:15 am

    Open the fuel dock till

The attendant opens the fuel dock register with the morning float, so every cash sale that day belongs to that shift.

  3. 10:30 am

    Dock walk on the tablet

The audit walk goes slip by slip down A dock: boat present, power cord secured, insurance current. Findings are flagged for follow-up.

  4. 1:00 pm

    Transient on the radio

A 38-foot sailboat wants two nights. The booking wizard shows the slips that fit her on the map, prices her by the foot and holds the slip while you take the deposit.

  5. 3:30 pm

Fuel and lunch on the account

A seasonal tenant fills his tanks and buys ice and sandwiches. The sale is charged to his account and lands on the same statement as his dockage.

  6. 5:30 pm

    Close out the day

The office closes the till with a blind count, then checks the deposit compliance screen for any booking missing its deposit.

How long does it take to set up a marina?

The marina setup wizard builds docks, slips, per-foot rates and packages in about twenty minutes. A 40-slip marina can take bookings the same afternoon. A large operation with dry stack, moorings and metered electric is a multi-week project.

Can I bring my boaters and their boats over from my old system?

Yes. The import wizard brings in customers, opening balances and boats matched to their owners from a spreadsheet. It checks every row before writing anything, and it can be undone.

Can boaters book a slip from our website?

Yes. The booking widget asks for the boat's type and length first, then shows only the rates that boat can book, with the real total and the real deposit.

Do seasonal tenants sign a contract?

Yes. Each reservation type can carry contract terms. They are copied onto the booking, the boater signs online, and a signed copy is emailed back.
