Suprata for yacht clubs and sailing clubs

Dues, moorings, guest boats and junior sailing on one member record

A club runs on its members: their dues, their moorings, their boats and their kids in sailing class. Suprata keeps all of it on one account per member, bills dues automatically, and books visiting boats onto guest moorings the way a marina books transients.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from yacht clubs and sailing clubs all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

Dues renewal is me with a spreadsheet and a stack of checks every January.

Membership dues run as subscriptions, billed automatically to a saved card or bank account.

We have a twenty-year mooring list, and every member is sure they should be next.

A waitlist ranks entries by the date they joined, and a status page lets each member see their own place in line.

Visiting boats pay cash at the dock, and half of it never makes it to the treasurer.

Guest moorings book like transient stays, and cash goes through a till that is counted at the end of every shift.

Junior sailing fills up in an hour, and I am taking names by email.

Sell seats on each class with a set capacity, then print a roster with every sailor's name and payment status.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 8:00 am

    Guest boats arriving

The launch operator checks today's arrivals and which guest moorings are still free.

  2. 9:30 am

    Junior sailing check-in

Instructors scan each sailor's ticket, or tick the printed roster, which shows any unpaid seat in amber.

  3. 11:00 am

    Mooring paperwork

A member uploads this year's mooring tackle inspection and insurance on the portal, and the office approves both.

  4. 2:00 pm

    A mooring opens

The secretary works the waitlist in order, contacts the next member and converts the entry into a reservation.

  5. 4:00 pm

    Snack bar and store

Burgees, shirts and snack bar sales are charged to the member's account and land on the monthly statement.

  6. 6:00 pm

    Dues follow-up

The treasurer checks the accounting dashboard for failed dues payments and recent payments.

Can members see where they are on the mooring waitlist?

Yes. A waitlist can have a status page that shows each person's position. When a mooring opens, staff make the offer.

Can members get priority over the public?

Yes. Run separate named lists, such as a members-only list that fills first, and publish the rule so everyone knows it.

Can we charge a fee to join the waitlist?
