Suprata for fishing charters

Full boats, paid deposits and a roster before the lines come off

A charter captain sells two things: seats on shared trips and the whole boat. Suprata puts shared trips on sale with seat classes, scannable tickets and a printed roster. Private charters go out as half-day and full-day options with a deposit on yes. When the weather turns, everyone gets a text.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from fishing charters all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

I take bookings by phone from the boat and end up with nine people for six seats.

Each trip has a seat capacity, and seats are held the moment an order starts, so the trip can't be oversold.

Half day, three-quarter or full day, and I type a new quote every time.

Send several priced options on one page. The customer picks one, signs and pays the deposit online.

When a front comes through, I spend the night calling everybody.

Text everyone on the trip from the shared inbox, then cancel the trip, which cancels its orders for refund.

My insurance wants a passenger list, and I have a sticky note.

The printable roster lists every passenger, seat class and payment status, with a check box and a signature column.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 5:15 am

    Dock check-in

The mate scans each angler's ticket from their phone. One unpaid seat shows a warning.

  2. 5:45 am

    Roster aboard

The printed roster with names and signatures goes into the wheelhouse.

  3. 1:00 pm

    Back at the dock

Today's anglers get a thank-you text with a review request, and unhappy ones reach the captain first.

  4. 2:30 pm

    Private charter

A family asks about a full day. The captain sends half-day and full-day options from a phone, and they pay the deposit that evening.

  5. 4:00 pm

    Weather watch

Saturday's forecast turns, so the captain texts everyone booked, cancels the trip and refunds the seats.

  6. 7:00 pm

    Next week

Next week's shared trips are already on sale, and the public page shows open seats by date.
