Suprata for boat rental companies and boat clubs

Rent the fleet by the hour and keep every damage deposit straight

A rental dock turns the same boats over three times a day. Suprata books each boat by the hour or the day, holds a damage deposit on the card, gets the rental agreement signed before the lines come off, and lets boat club members book their own time.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from boat rental companies and boat clubs all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

A guy brought a pontoon back with a dinged prop, and I had already handed his cash deposit back.

Take the damage deposit as a hold on the card through Stripe or USIO, then release it or charge part of it when the boat comes back.

Two families showed up for the same pontoon at ten because the phone and the website both took the booking.

Every booking runs an availability check, a short hold and a final conflict check, so the same boat cannot be sold twice.

Our club members want to book boat time on their own, and I do not want non-members grabbing the slots.

Make club membership a pass and require it to book a time slot, so only members can book, and the next free boat is assigned.

I need a signed agreement and the renter's boating card on file before anybody leaves the dock.

Rental agreement terms go on every booking for online signing, and required documents can block the booking until they are uploaded.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 7:30 am

    Fleet timeline

The dock lead opens today's timeline to see which pontoons, jet skis and fishing boats go out, and when.

  2. 8:30 am

    Paperwork done

The first renters arrive with the agreement already signed from their confirmation email, and the attendant checks the boating card they uploaded.

  3. 9:00 am

    Damage hold

The attendant places the damage hold on the renter's card and hands over the keys.

  4. 12:00 pm

    Member books the afternoon

A club member books a four-hour block on the portal, and the system assigns the next free boat.

  5. 4:15 pm

    Boat comes back

A scuffed prop. The attendant charges part of the hold for the repair and opens a repair job on that boat.

  6. 6:00 pm

    Review requests

Today's renters are asked for a review, and anyone unhappy can reach the owner first.

Questions we hear

Straight answers

Asked by boat rental companies and boat clubs before they switch.

Can I rent boats by the hour?

Yes. Rental fleets can be set to an hourly billing cadence, and member boat time can run as time slots with their own hours.

How do damage deposits work?

The deposit can be a pre-authorized hold on the card. Release it when the boat comes back clean, or charge part of it for damage.

Can renters book on our website?

Yes, for daily and multi-day rentals. The booking widget lets renters pick dates, choose a boat type and pay a deposit or the full amount.

Can only paying members book club boats?
