Suprata for irrigation and sprinkler contractors

Every start-up and every blowout, booked before the season turns

Irrigation work comes in two waves: start-up in spring and winterization in fall, with repairs in between. Suprata books both waves as a twice-yearly program, keeps each system's details on the property, and gets the right tech to the right backyard.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from irrigation and sprinkler contractors all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

Every fall I've got two hundred blowouts to book before the first freeze, and it's all phone tag.

A twice-yearly agreement creates each start-up and winterization visit, and they show up in the Work Queue three weeks ahead so the office can book them.

My tech gets to the house and has no idea how many zones it has or where the controller is.

Each property keeps the controller and backflow device as equipment with notes and history, so the tech walks in knowing the system.

We find three broken heads on a start-up and the customer says nobody told them it would cost extra.

The tech photographs the problem and the customer signs approval on the phone before the repair.

The snow guy runs over the heads and the customer calls me angry in April.

Service location notes and photos record where heads are, and a shared job note can go to the customer by text or email on the spot.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 7:00 am

    Queue first

The office works the Work Queue: forty winterizations need dates this week. Each call ends with a booked visit.

  2. 7:45 am

    Techs roll

Each tech's stops are ordered by the route optimizer, and each job shows the property's controller location and zone count.

  3. 9:30 am

    Repair approved

A start-up turns up a cracked valve. The tech snaps a photo, adds the part and the customer signs approval on the phone.

  4. 11:00 am

    Truck stock

The valve comes off the truck's stock, so the office knows what to restock tonight.

  5. 2:00 pm

    New system quote

A landscaper's customer wants a new drip zone. The owner sends an estimate the customer accepts online.

  6. 5:00 pm

    Invoices out

Finished visits become invoices with a pay link. Plan customers are billed on their agreement instead.

Questions we hear

Straight answers

Asked by irrigation and sprinkler contractors before they switch.

Can one agreement cover both the spring start-up and the fall winterization?

Yes. Set the agreement's schedule to every six months starting with your first visit, and each cycle creates the job, the invoice or both.

Read: Recurring Schedules on Agreements

Will the visits schedule themselves?

You choose. Auto-book drops visits on the calendar, or with auto-book off each visit appears in the Work Queue three weeks ahead so someone can call and set a real date.

Can I keep notes about each system?

Yes. Each property can hold equipment records with service history, plus access notes and gate codes on the service location.

Is there a ready-made irrigation inspection form?

The standard library has general equipment forms you can tailor with the form builder, or Suprata can build a custom form for your trade.
