Suprata for boat launches, ramps and day-use areas
Sell launch passes and ramp time without the clipboard at the gate
A launch or day-use area sells small things to a lot of people: day passes, seasonal stickers, ramp time. Suprata sells them at the counter or online, caps how many go out each day, and gives every buyer a QR proof your staff can scan at the ramp.

Sound familiar?
What a normal week looks like without the right system
We hear these from boat launches, ramps and day-use areas all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.
On the Fourth of July we oversell the ramp by noon, and the trailers back up onto the road.
Set a per-day cap on launch passes, so the counter and the website both stop selling when the ramp is full.
Sticker holders swear they paid, and all I have is a carbon-copy receipt book.
Every pass lives on the customer's account with its dates and status, and scanning its QR code shows valid or the reason it is not.
Commercial operators use our ramp every morning, and we charge them one flat fee no matter how big the boat is.
Price commercial landings per foot of vessel length, read from the boat's record, with price breaks by size.
Vendors and contractors show up on site, and I have no idea who is supposed to be there.
Vendor permits collect custom fields, file uploads and a list of everyone on their crew, and can require staff approval before they are valid.

One ordinary day, start to finish
Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.
-
5:30 am
Gatehouse opens
The attendant opens the gatehouse till with the morning float.
-
6:15 am
Scan at the ramp
Trucks and trailers roll in. The attendant scans each pass with a phone, and single-use day passes are marked used on the spot.
-
9:00 am
Daily cap reached
Day passes hit the per-day cap, and no more can be sold for today at the counter or online.
-
11:00 am
Commercial landing
A charter operator books a 90-minute landing slot, and the fee is figured from his 44-foot vessel's length.
-
2:00 pm
Vendor permit review
The office reviews a food vendor's application with its insurance upload and staff list, approves it, and the vendor is emailed.
-
4:30 pm
Close the drawer
The attendant closes the till with a blind count, and any variance over your tolerance needs a reason.

Questions we hear
Straight answers
Asked by boat launches, ramps and day-use areas before they switch.
Can a permit belong to one boat instead of one person?
Yes. Turn on per-vessel permits, and each permit is issued for one boat or trailer and approves and expires on its own.
Can we block Sunday launches or holidays?
Yes. Each pass type can black out days of the week and specific dates, and the rule is enforced at the counter and online.
Can boaters book a time at the ramp?
Yes. Make the ramp a time-slot resource with its own hours and capacity, and require a launch permit before anyone can book it.
Does the QR scan open our gate?
No. Staff scan passes with a phone, a tablet or a barcode scanner to check them. Suprata does not control gate hardware.
