Suprata for water, sewer and electric utilities
Every main, manhole and pump station, with the work that touches it
Utilities run on assets in the ground and people with licenses. Suprata Works puts sewer and storm mains, manholes and pump stations on a map with their open work and history. Backflow test reports, operator certifications and outage drills each get a tool built for the job.

Sound familiar?
What a normal week looks like without the right system
We hear these from water, sewer and electric utilities all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.
We flush hydrants and jet sewer lines on a schedule that lives in one foreman's head.
Suprata Works runs preventive maintenance by calendar, season or engine hours and creates the work orders days ahead.
Backflow testers mail us test reports, and we have no idea which devices in town are overdue.
Suprata Inspections lets testers file backflow reports online, and staff see every device that is due, overdue or failed.
Our operators' licenses renew on different cycles, and the state wants proof of contact hours.
Suprata Training tracks each certification's renewal cycle and continuing education hours, and warns the operator and the supervisor in time.
Everyone talks about a ransomware attack on the plant, but we have never actually practiced one.
Suprata Exercise includes a water utility ransomware decision game you can copy, adapt and run with your own team.

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.
-
6:30 am
Morning work
The collections crew opens six assigned work orders on their phones, including a hydro-jet job on a known grease hot spot.
-
8:00 am
Pump station checklist
An operator completes the pump station inspection checklist. A failed item becomes a prioritized work order on its own.
-
10:00 am
Backflow reports
Staff accept a stack of passing backflow test reports and return one with a missing reading.
-
1:00 pm
Main break
An emergency work order goes out with the main's location on the map, and labor, equipment and parts are logged as the crew works.
-
3:00 pm
License renewals
The superintendent checks which operators have licenses expiring this year and how many contact hours each still needs.
-
4:30 pm
History back to GIS
Closed work writes its maintenance history back to the GIS layer, so the map stays the record.

Questions we hear
Straight answers
Asked by water, sewer and electric utilities before they switch.
Does Works connect to our GIS?
Yes. Assets come in as points, lines and polygons from your GIS layers, stay in sync, and maintenance history is written back to the GIS layer.
Can backflow testers pay a filing fee online?
Yes. Suprata Inspections supports a per-report filing fee paid by card before the report is submitted.
Does Suprata do our customer utility billing?
No. Suprata runs the field, asset, testing, training and contractor side of a utility. Customer billing stays in your billing system.
Can crews work where there is no cell signal?
Yes. The Works field app stores assigned work on the device and syncs changes when the connection returns.
