Suprata for emergency management offices

Run the exercise, capture every decision, write the after-action report

Emergency managers build hurricane, flood, outage and cyber scenarios without programming and run them with several agencies at once. Every inject, decision and change is time-stamped, so the after-action review writes itself from the record. Training, volunteer responders and grant-funded partners sit beside it.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from emergency management offices all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

Our tabletop exercises live in a slide deck and a note-taker's legal pad, so the after-action report takes me three weeks.

Suprata Exercise time-stamps every inject, decision and message, and replays the exercise turn by turn for a printable after-action report.

I have to prove that every partner agency took the required incident command courses, and I am chasing certificates by email.

Suprata Training keeps each person's courses, certificates and supporting documents on one record, with reminders before items come due.

When a storm is coming, I need to know which volunteers are cleared, trained and available, not just who signed a form two years ago.

Suprata Volunteer tracks each volunteer's waivers, background clearance dates and training, and reminds them before anything expires.

We pass preparedness money down to towns and spend the year chasing reimbursement paperwork and match.

Suprata Grants tracks each partner's budget, matching funds, reimbursement requests and reports due on one dashboard.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 8:00 am

    Exercise design

The planner duplicates last year's flood scenario, adds a new inject for a bridge closure and publishes version 3.

  2. 9:30 am

    Launch the tabletop

County, city, school and utility teams sign in to their seats. Each sees only what their role and access level allow.

  3. 10:15 am

    Control team at work

The control team sends an unplanned inject about a shelter at capacity and confirms a proposed outcome.

  4. 12:30 pm

    After-action review

The exercise ends and the team replays it turn by turn, flags key decisions and prints the report.

  5. 2:00 pm

    Readiness check

The training coordinator checks which partner staff are missing required courses and sends reminders.

  6. 4:00 pm

    Volunteer roster

A storm is two days out. Staff text every cleared volunteer with an open shift and watch the sign-ups come in.

Questions we hear

Straight answers

Asked by emergency management offices before they switch.

Do we need a programmer to build a scenario?

No. Scenarios are built in plain forms: teams and roles, a timeline of turns, injects, a map, decision points and the rules that decide what happens next.

Can several agencies play at once?

Yes. Several teams play at the same time, each person sees only what their team, role and access level allow, and several exercises can run at once.

What do we get at the end?

A time-stamped log of every inject, decision and change, a turn-by-turn replay, a printable after-action report and downloads as spreadsheets.

Can volunteers sign up without a password?

Yes. Suprata Volunteer uses a one-time passcode by text or email, and sign-up takes about a minute.
