Suprata for volunteer-powered nonprofits

Every volunteer screened, trained and on the right shift

When volunteers do the work, the coordinator does everything else: waivers, clearances, training, shifts and thank-yous. Suprata Volunteer gives each opportunity its own steps and moves people through them automatically. Suprata Training adds full courses and certifications for teams like search and rescue.

What a normal week looks like without the right system

We hear these from volunteer-powered nonprofits all the time. Here is what Suprata does about each one.

A mentor's background clearance expired in March, and we didn't know until a parent asked.

Each requirement has a validity period, volunteers are reminded before it expires, and staff see an expiring and expired list.

Our orientation is a video nobody can prove they watched.

A captioned training video with a short quiz is a step in the workflow, and a passing score moves the volunteer forward.

I spend Friday night texting people to fill Saturday's cleanup.

Same-day recruiting and targeted invitations go by text to volunteers who match the open shift.

Every program keeps its own sign-up sheet, so I can't tell the board how many volunteers we really have.

All programs live under one roof, with a live dashboard and reports on compliance, attendance and hours.

A day in the life with Suprata

One ordinary day, start to finish

Here is how the work flows when every call, job, booking and payment lives in one place.

  1. 8:00 am

    Outstanding compliance

The dashboard lists volunteers waiting on a document, a clearance or a training quiz.

  2. 10:00 am

    Review uploads

Staff approve a CPR card a volunteer uploaded from her phone, and her status updates.

  3. 12:30 pm

    Clearance results

Staff enter clearance dates from your screening provider. Suprata sets the reminder for renewal.

  4. 3:00 pm

    Recognition

Volunteers who crossed 100 hours this year show up for the next recognition tier, and the coordinator records their awards.

  5. 5:30 pm

    Event check-in

Volunteers scan a QR code to check in at the park site. The live board covers every site at once.

  6. 7:00 pm

    Board meeting

Board members read the packet on a tablet, and the secretary records each vote live.

Questions we hear

Straight answers

Asked by volunteer-powered nonprofits before they switch.

Can each role have different requirements?

Yes. Staff set the steps for each opportunity, such as waivers, documents, clearance, training and approval, without programming.

Do you run the background checks?

No. Suprata tracks them. Staff enter the clearance date and notes from your screening provider, and Suprata reminds before it expires.

Can families sign up together?

Yes. A parent adds and registers minors from one family account.

How do we show the value of our volunteers?

A built-in report shows the return on volunteer time using a published value of volunteer time, with the source shown.
